A great way to continue to build trust and excellence is found in the debrief! We will often do a debrief as a team with production, but private debriefs can be phenomenally helpful as well. Remember- the purpose of debriefing is not to count mistakes, but to identify areas to level up in the future- while championing successes as well.
Spending time to debrief with your Worship Leader after the set will ensure you executed the vision they had in mind and if not, discovering where growth can take place. Most WLs are also VDs, and they can impart great advice into your abilities!
Debriefing with vocalists as well is pivotal in validating their areas of excellence, and speaking into their areas of growth.
Orientees shadowing soundcheck can also benefit from your thoughts and feedback, as they grow to learn the processes and systems of our worship team.
