FUEL HANDBOOK

The Fuel Team is responsible for providing breakfast and dinner for the worship and production teams serving on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings (20-30 people may vary by campus). This includes set up, food service, and clean up. Each campus is assigned a monthly fuel budget. We're going to start providing recipes, Pinterest ideas, and easy go to meals for ease and sufficiency. You can still cook what you want and please share the recipes!

First Things First

  1. Download Slack App - Please have your campus Fuel Lead send you the invite to join Slack to be able to add you to your assigned campus Fuel Team Slack thread to stay in the loop on scheduling, forms, and other important communications.

  2. Download Planning Center Online (PCO/ “Services”) App - This is where you can load your schedule block-out dates, see which services you’re assigned to, and see which team members you will be providing fuel for that day. When you are requested to serve, it is important that you ACCEPT or REJECT as soon as possible to give us enough time to schedule a replacement if needed. Please ask your Fuel Lead to send an invite to join PCO.

Excellence Expectations

The Fuel Team strives for excellence as we are providing the fuel for our worship and production teams to be able to perform at their very best every service. We want to continue providing the best experience for our worship and production teams and to do so it takes a person like you!

  • Be on time. Worship & Production teams have limited time between sound check and serving, so timely serving of Fuel is of high importance.

  • Have designated set up and clean up every Sunday and Wednesday. Proudly display and organize the fuel, with all serving items, plates, napkins, set and ready for use. Partner with the Worship Team to clean up after themselves, but the Fuel Team member has the ultimate responsibility of assuring a clean room.

  • Keep an Excellent Beige Roomall dishes must be washed & put away, trash tossed, surfaces wiped after EVERY Sunday and Wednesday service. No leaving dirty dishes in the sink.

  • All items in the Beige room must pertain to the Beige Room. No random materials that belong to other ministries or are just taking up space. Consider getting rid of items that have not been used for long periods of time.

  • WEEKLY Inventory CheckCheck your supplies to see if anything needs to be reordered soon, mark on Inventory Checklist. Order supplies as needed, according to your budget allotted.

  • MONTHLY Deep CleanClean out fridge, make sure all dishes are washed, all items are organized (plasticware, paperware, coffee & tea, etc)
